Tuscany Bay Publishing began as an online magazine publisher in Half Moon Bay, California in 2007. In 2013, it transitioned to publishing non-fiction books and novels. In June of 2017, Black Dog Publishing and Tuscany Bay Publishing merged and became Tuscany Bay Books in Simi Valley, California. Tuscany Bay Books is now located in Steele, North Dakota.
We currently publish fiction (sci-fi/fantasy, mysteries, thrillers, horror, and westerns) along with non-fiction.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our founding partner, James Christina, on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
Jim had been battling respiratory issues related to his time in service during the Vietnam War in the 1970s and finally succumbed to those injuries.
He was a great writer, a savvy businessman, a musician, and, more importantly, an incredible friend.
We extend our condolences to his wife, Gerry, his family, and all of his friends who have been hit with this terrible news. There will not be a single day that passes without us missing you terribly, Jim.

Samuel Archer Spade is a private detective on Space Station 1964, known as Norma to the locals, on the other side of the Milky Way galaxy. He's a former investigator for Galactic Justice, but now he works for himself.
Sam is at his "office" inside The Galaxy's Edge, a bar on the station. when a knockout blonde in a red dress named Natasha Carter strolls in looking for him. She has a case for him. He develops a case for her.
Only thing is, she’s on the run from her partner in crime as well as GalJus. When she kills her partner and claims self-defense, Spade is left with two choices: Help her get away with it, or turn her in and have her personality erased for her crimes. Either way, he’ll lose his soul. With some women, he muses, it’s worth the price.
As with most of his cases, there's more to the story than just a gorgeous dame with a sad story to tell. But this case will lead him far away from Norma and will put both of their lives in jeopardy as Sam uncovers a long-hidden truth that will upend every corner of the galaxy.

Space Opera is not only alive and kicking in John C. Wright's "Starquest Book One: Space Pirates of Andromeda", but this might be one of the best examples the genre has to offer.
